“Of the various instruments invented by man, the most amazing is the book; all the others are extensions. Only the book is an extension of his imagination and memory” (words of Jorge Luis Borges, writer). It may be the best definition we give to a book, beyond seeing a group of pieces of paper together filled with ink, the union of words is one of the most powerful instruments we have, “Language”.

A book is like a ship that transports us back in time, it is a timeless communication language; has its own time and is not tied to our calendar. Nobody writes for the present, they write about the future or the past, since it is an inexhaustible source of knowledge that allows us to explore an infinite universe of possibilities; from events that occurred to events that are yet to come, which we can document.

Quite a few occasions we have difficulties to understand other people’s thoughts or positions that are opposite to ours, thanks to books I discovered that ideas are born from words, and these are recorded over time; and thus immortalize their ideas.

One way to understand our differences is to turn to the origin of ideas that we can only find in a book. On many occasions we express ourselves and capture various emotions, through a book since it is not limiting and does not censor, rather the opposite you will always find the spaces, to identify yourself in something as simple as dreaming. Among so many things we can say, the books gave me the option to define my experiences; that particular and unique feeling that you find in a set of words immersed in ink in written on paper, and that are the bridge between our imagination and the vision of who one day took time to express themselves through them, because these are a timeless means of communication.
